Walking

Yes the short film " Walking" can be considered art. It depends on the person to see it as art. The creator put time and effort to making it. He wanted to make a point about something. To share an emotion with the viewers. I personally don't see it as something of value. I know it is art, just not the type of art i'm interested in.

The point of this film, I feel, is to show that where ever you go, people are always different. THe culture is different. A persons body language greatly differs from another. Everyone is from different walks of life.
To see this you have to go through life slowly, or at least examining your surroundings closely. Take time to look around and learn from what you see.Don't just walk around staring at you feet, it will get you no where.

As for decontextualizing, i'm not too sure. I was thinking that decontextualizing, was taking a text-breaking it down, and them making a new text. I might have the meaning wrong, but from what i understand, I don't think it is. I'm not seeing a text that is being created from another. IT is a orignal text in my eyes.

Whats this Literature you speak of?

What really counts as Literature. Well the way i see it, its just about covers most of the things that a person can read. Well not all. I see it, that in order for something to be Literature it has to have meaning-a purpose. Something that the auther had an intended purpose for. A message that can be taken out of the text. Something that you learn from as or after you read. If you read something, and can't get a single thing out of it, then its not Literature. Its just a jumble of words. Pointless. Your just wasting your time reading it. Single words to whole books, and any in the middle can be Literature. Your saying a single word can't be. Well it sure can. Billboards sometime have their entire message-with the help of the background-in one word. You read the single word and get the whole message and meaning of the word. If you just saw the same word by itself -just there- then thats not litrature to me. Just a word that has no meaning in the real world.

Ethical Implications

To me Ethical Imlications are the Right or Wrong choices that should be common sense to all or at least most people. For example it is wrong to walk into moving traffic, put your hand in a fire, or put your finger into a light fixture. Most people know this. Also its right to help the elderly, and study and do homework. Most people know this to, thay just CHOOSE not to do them.

Grades and Learning

Are Grades like operant conditioning? I think that they kinda are. Students are conditioned to think thats A's make you a smarter person, and that F's make you a stupid person. This is not even true. Getting an A does not make you smarter or even better then any one. You could just be memerizing facts, and not even learning any thing. I would rather get a C, and learn at lest one good fact that i didn't know, compared to getting an A and not learn anything new. But Students are conditioned to believe an A is better then learning new things.

What motavates Me

Several things motavate me to do things. The biggest thing would be the expected out come . If its something that i really what/ need or something that i will find joy from, I'll do it. For school, if the subject is interesting to , i will of course I will be motavated to do well and learn all that i can from that class. If it a subject i hate or dislike , i will have no motavation to do any thing in that class.
