Ethical Implications

To me Ethical Imlications are the Right or Wrong choices that should be common sense to all or at least most people. For example it is wrong to walk into moving traffic, put your hand in a fire, or put your finger into a light fixture. Most people know this. Also its right to help the elderly, and study and do homework. Most people know this to, thay just CHOOSE not to do them.

What I was wondering is what do you believe the ethical implications are of controlling one's behavior through conditioning--through behavior modification? Is it right for an individual teacher or an entire educational system to manipulate the way a student acts by using grades in a calculated and deliberate manner?
